Great macjake 2014-02-17 5:16

Hi Angshu
i appreciate your efforts in locating new and unique pov's in this city....a hard task i'm sure :)

in my opinion, the large cloud formation helps to balance, and grounds the photo, giving me a focal point to center the scene - i think that's very important here. take away that large cloud formation and the subjects feel strangely lost.

lots of perspectives and distortions happening too, but i'm ok with that, don't mind it at all.
excellent details on the statue stone on the right.
love the overall scene, the colors, and the pov.
good work

Default To macjake: Thanks Craig

...for your very useful & insightful your critique ...I was in two minds to post this shot & would not have, had the cloud not being there. When you shoot from close to the tall subject, the distortion was immense...I corrected it a fair amount but left some of it.

I am not sure if you really liked the don't need to be polite with me, you know :-)...but thanks if you reaally did

Cheers & have a great week!

HI angshu
Haha..yes indeed i liked the photo.
i had a feeling you corrected the distortion...its always a fine line when doing that because you end up losing some of the scene.
i like the photo because its a new view of Paris - thats cool.
keep them coming
