As much as I enjoyed Amsterdam, I liked Haarlem even more! I had taken a similar picture of this exact same windmill, unfortunately mine did not turn out nearly as well as this one!? Great memories have come back seeing this photo. :) I really enjoy how you've put this together to have the windmill as a centerpiece, but have also shown much of the surrounding area, which also holds a lot of interest and color. Nice warm sunlight and sharp focus has rendered a lovely and detailed atmosphere. Quite picturesque, this looks great! Hope you had a pleasant Christmas, and here's to a Happy New Year ahead!

Hi Jason,
Although Amsterdam is the place to be for all the tourists visiting Holland,little brother Haarlem is just as interesting and much more relaxed,the history and culture of this town is endless... Happy and healthy 2014! jan
