Great tyro 2013-12-19 14:18

Bonjour Olivier,

As a very amateur pianist I can appreciate this lovely photograph! And, if I am not mistaken, I think the pianist is playing this accompaniment. Were you singing the solo part? The piano part sounds easier than the singer's part!

An excellent photograph which must have been taken in fairly poor light but with your lovely 70-200mm f/4 IS lens - I have one of those too and I love it. Unfortunately we cannot see your exif data but I would be interested to know what ISO, aperture and shutter speed you used here.

The picture has a lovely serene quality with lovely soft lighting and little colour apart from the red felts in the piano keyboard but we can make out the reflection of the pianist's face perfectly well in the highly polished music stand.

A delightful and interesting photograph, very well seen and very well taken!

Kind Regards,

Default To tyro: exif

Here is the exif : 1/80s f/4 iso 1600 and 200mm
the stabilizer is awesome to shoot 200mm at 1/80s !
THanks for your kind comment
