This is just incredibly beautiful: and you've captured it so well. The snow is for once not under-exposed (did you over-ride your camera's meter?). Also the little line of animal's footprints take our eyes into the picture. What a fairytale!

Hello Will,
thank you for your kind comment! I just looked over the EXIF-Data of the picture, and for my surpise i did no override of the cameras meter. I suppose the dark clouds kept the exposure in balance. On the other hand the light meter of the EOS 5 is working very reliable.
