Great kato 2011-06-09 19:29

Hi Dave,

You're capturing well this peaceful seascape by a good composition, so it's impressive to see both of waterfront and mountains with snow by panoramic view. It's effective role in the point of entire image for rocks with moss that lies at center of screen, too. And, some color layers in sea surface draw out good atmosphere as well as reflection of rock and heron, I think.

(p.s.)
It looks to draw out rich color tone more than not use when a polarizer filter is used, though I have not used this filter.

Regards,
mikio

Default To kato: polarizer

Thanks, Mikio
I would definitely encourage you try out a good polarizer filter.
If you google "polarizer filter examples" you can many examples and "with-without" comparisons.
I have mine on all the time I am outside. You do loose some light through them. Also I would be careful about inexpensive ones that may leave a blue color-cast - I had this trouble with a Sigma filter. I use B+W.
Best Regards ........ Dave
