Default To daveRen: More info request regarding AZ foto

DaveRen,
Thanks for your comments.... This was taken northeast of Apache Junction. The mountains are I believe called the "Three Sisters"

I lived in AZ for 20+ years and never saw snow on the sisters. It was a rare opportunity to capture. Again glad you enjoyed the picture.

Giovanni.
OK - that totally makes sense. We drove through the Superstition Mountains a long time ago, but we need to check out this area around Apache Junction for sure. Hopefully we can do it this fall or winter on our way to Mexico (or returning in the early spring.) We like to "boondock" camp in our truck/camper and then explore by foot. We really like Suguaro NP and Organ Pipe Cactus NM. Please check out my US photos for some shots of those areas.

I added your shot to the "Sonoran Desert" theme. It would be great if you added photos periodically. I think it could be an interesting gallery of desert shots of the hugely diverse (and huge) Sonoran Desert with more particapation.

Thanks ...... Dave
