Great abmdsudi 2011-01-11 20:59

Hi Paul
This is stunning sunset scene. Everything is there, the colors, good foreground, spanning bridge as good mid foreground and reflection and above above the exposure is superb. However i feel disturbed by the structure above which is so distracting. Its better to pay full attention to main subject in great detail and ignore those unwanted subject. In WS I have cropped the unwanted and the result is better, eye would hold focus and hover around this beauty. secondly maximise the size allowed up to max 800pixel width. Hopefully my suggetion is helpful. Congrats. TFS. Best rgds

Default To abmdsudi: Bridge at sunset

Thanks for your suggestion. I appreciate any form of learning and I am still not sure if the crop while appreciated and tried, really captured the scene as I wanted. I am a big fan of the rule of thirds and the rule as applied to the cropped and uncropped photo is still in limbo to me. The photo was reduced prior to submitting to TE. Maybe I should have left it a slight bit larger. What do you think? Again thanks for your thoughts and please feel free to make any comments to help me take better photos. PJH
