Great tyro 2014-02-09 5:52

Hi Craig,

Again you are showing that your abilities as a photographer are boundless - no longer just pictures of interesting architectural details and features, but now, more and more, photographs of people - and fascinating ones at that.

I agree with you - there's a dreadful sadness about this picture and, oh, wouldn't it just be wonderful to give that guy a new ball? The deflated ball just looks so pathetic and he looks so sad as he gazes down at it.

This is a wonderful "reportage" photograph but also a finely composed one which shows these old buildings and the street scene to good effect. Lovely light and colours, perfect exposure and your usual exquisite details and sharpness.

Kind Regards,

Default To tyro: subjects

Hi John
its great to see you back posting some new photos

As for the change of subjects....well...dont get too far ahead of yourself haha
my #1 passion is still photographing city views, modern architecture and abstract architecture!
But as you say i'm slowly branching out into new avenues, guess it was bound to happen at some point eh? Its nerve racking approaching people with the camera, but the cuban people made it so comfortable! I hope you do get the chance to visit Cuba, i'll meet you there!

Thanks as always for your kind words
