Default Sea weed expert

Dear Winifred, I am not an expert on anything at all

However, when I was at Uni, there was a an absolutely wonderful field trip to Aberystwyth, which reinforced my love of the sea, and we did a lot of work on zonation both of seaweeds and barnacles. With the camera I'm using now, I have managed to get a photo of barnacles feeding. It won't be posted on TE as it's a bit too specialised, and the thumbnail is most unprepossessing

I am just going out in a minute to take some photos of primroses, which I hope will show the difference between the thrum-eyed and pin-eyed forms.

I don't think I have ever seen a sundog, although I have seen photos of them of course. Did you manage to get a photo?

Warm wishes, Amelia
