I find on digital, for whatever reason, when it emulates ASA 400, the effect is similar. I try to force mine to ASA 50 as much as possible. I have a toggle that I can use to alter the asa easily on...

I use ArcSoft, which is a fairly simply program compared to photoshop. Somewhere in your program see if you can find a heading like 'repair photo', then 'remove elements' and play around with...
