Re: To branley: Dali and the Doll...

Hello Bulent,

I suppose all good things come to an end but I did have a good time though and meeting special people like yourself, JHM and others made it very worthwhile.

Your new book sounds...

Time to move on.

Time has become a big issue for me, therefore I'm moving on to pastures new. I don't agree with everything on TE, in particular the points system, it flatters many people, myself included probably...

Re: TE photobook project launch.

Hi Daniel, I've watched avidly as interest to this project has grown. I don't personally think one book would work; for me it would be three books, portraits, landscapes and one for everything else,...

Re: To branley: hiya Stephen....ollie

If it's any consolation Ollie I've thought about letting the whole TE thing slip many a time. I don't like the points system, it's all a bit too much of a 'clique' most of the time but, every time I...

Re: To branley: humans

Indeed I am Winifred, but my old bones are creaking just a bit and, whilst I don't want to wish my life away, I'm looking forward to retirement in about 4 years. Good to hear from you and have a...

Re: To branley: Bit OE sky

It's difficult on bright days to get everything right, harsh light flattens the colours. Ben4321 told me to underexpose my shots that way you can always bring out the shadows but it's a lot more...

Re: my 100th post removed

Hi Carlos, I know I'm a bit late adding to this thread but firstly I'm sorry to see your post removed, especially as it was a special one, #100 and secondly I was informed by Leo (and I thank him for...

Vedra

Does anyone know why 'Vedra's' account has been disabled? She had some great images in her gallery.

Re: To Stephen (branley)

Hi Dan, thanks for your advice in this thread, mind you having read a few threads on various subjects I think people goad certain individuals into losing their temper, it sometimes seems a bit of a...

Re: Excessive thank you replies.

I admit I probably didn't read TOS as well as I should of but I certainly haven't lost my temper over it and now I know that it's not allowed I won't continue to post 'thanks you's'. I appreciate...

Thanks guys, (or is that excessive)? Seriously though, I'll moderate (excuse the pun) my replies in the future. Have a great day.

Excessive thank you replies.

I've just been advised by a friend (and I thank him for his advice) that:

'Some moderators don`t like too many thank you replies and may delete posted images'.

I've only tried to be polite...

Re: Shooting in RAW

Hi Thomas, I always shoot in RAW and basic JPEG (purely for viewing in Windows fax & picture viewer) and I process in Nikon Capture NX. RAW gives me much more flexibility in the PP department. I'm...

Who is this man?

Can anyone tell me who this person is. He 'hijacked 6 of my 'thank you's' to people who'd critiqued my latest post? His account has been disabled yet it appears he's still able to post willy nilly.

Re: To branley: Thanks!

Hi Una, isn't it amazing how everyone perceives an image in a different way? You see the two people here as an interaction and I see them as a distraction. That's what makes photography a wonderful...

Sadly my friend I have no idea how to do it in photoshop, I converted this in Nikon Capture, but if I do find out soon, I will let you know or you can post it as a question on the TE forum.
