Smile To macjake: how close

I use a combination lens Tamron AF 18-220mm, which I find quite practical, as I don't have to bother with changing lenses. It saves time and you avoid those dust particles entering your camera. I'm a...

To CLODO: no song title

For my Vietnamese series I decided to stop with the song titles thing. It was becoming of a drag and just didn't feel right with Vietnam. Occasional song title references might still pop up, though....

To emka: buy

Well, we bought a beautiful, elaborately designed baby bag like that when we were travelling in Guizhou in 2001, with the idea of using it when we had our baby. But in the end we bought it but never...

To macjake: trailing car lights

Trailling car lights here at night? I'm afraid you'd have to camp out a few weeks before you might find a car passing by here at night! Then maybe, if you're lucky, some early dawn....

Post To holmertz: hill tribe

Hej Gert

I know what you mean with your comment regarding the word "tribe". Of course, I do not mean as derogatory in any way. In fact I chose it over the word "minorities", which also sounds...

Thumbs up To jimmyjimmy: WS

Thanks for the WS. I agree that the arm of her friend is a bit disturbing. You did a great job in removing it.
I only very, very rarely still do that kind of PP work these days.

To gervaso: mogotes

Yes, the landscape is similar indeed to western Cuba, but these karst rocks are bigger and spread out over over a wider (and higher) area. Some steep mountain passes need to be crossed to get there.....
