To bona: Your question...

Hello Andre,

The buildings and blue sky in the windows are reflections of the city. If you stand in a certain way, you can even get a reflection of the Empire State Building in those windows. :)

To mcmtanyel: Christmas trees

Hello Murat,

I'll definitely be making a Christmas tree 2019 theme. :) Once the photos start rolling in, I'll set it up.

I hope you had a nice Thanksgiving!

To holmertz: Mural and photos

Hello Gert,

I do believe that Kobra's murals are painted reproductions of the original photos. All of his murals here in NYC, (there are currently eighteen of them), feature people or characters...

To jean113: Mural

Hello Jean,

Thanks for stopping by. :) I think this mural will stay on the school long-term, but I didn't find any definitive answer. Kobra has eighteen murals around NYC right now, and they are...

To holmertz: Plaza Hotel

Hello Gert,

This hotel is definitely not for average travelers. The rich and famous usually stay here, but poorer photographers can take some photos and enjoy the ambiance as they pass through. :D...

The tower

Hi Paul,

Maybe I wasn't completely clear with my critique. I tried to take some photos of the Brooklyn Bridge from Manhattan a few months ago, and that building made the view much less attractive....

To ktanska: The face...

Hi Kari,

I can certainly see the resemblance to Jack Torrance, (The Shining is my favorite horror movie by the way), but this is actually the face of a character from Ghostbusters II named Vigo. I...

To Royaldevon: Evil eyes

Hello Bev,

Thanks for stopping by. :) It's funny that you described the eyes in my photo as evil; the word "EVIL" is actually painted next to the face, but I didn't include it in the shot. This is...

To macjake: Visiting Bushwick

Hello Craig,

Now you have another reason to come back to NYC. Next time you need to do an in-depth Brooklyn tour. :) I'd be happy to view the art again. They change it every year, so there will...

To jean113: More photos

Hello Jean,

Thanks for your kind critique. I will probably show a few more photos of the art. It was really amazing to see so many murals in such a small area. It's like walking through an...

To macjake: Victims and insurance

Hello Craig,

For a while there was temporary government funding for those suffering from 9/11 related illnesses, but it was about to run out of money. First responders and other workers who are...

To emka: Polish festival

Hello Malgo,

Thanks for your critique. There isn't any large Polish festival in Manhattan, but every October there is a parade. It's called the Pulaski Day Parade, and it has taken place every...

To emka: The beach

Hello Malgo,

Coney Island is only twenty minutes from my home, so it wasn't a very far trip. :) I usually visit once or twice every summer.

Have a great day!

Hello Paul,

Thanks for stopping by. While walking on The Bowery, I was thinking that the homeless people must feel even more depressed watching the fashionable people walk by. It's a very odd...

Thank you!

Hello Rob,

Thanks for the links. It's not a completely new building, but the proposed renovations look great. I will especially be waiting for the new rooftop space. :)

Have a great day!
