And what about 'babushka': it is called 'matreshka'...

"Why did you use ISO 100 in those conditions of light? ISO 50 wouldn't have been possible?"

Actually my camera has only ISO 100 as minimal manual sensitivity. So I had to choose it: I prefer to...

Slogan translation

Sorry for not translating it at once: it was hard to find right words in English for it.
It means something like 'Have a Snickers in your way of life'.

Re: Minimum hardware question...

You need to have memory available for you image-editing software to be twice the size of the picture.

For example: raw 5 megapixels image holds 14MB. You need 28MB RAM available to PSE to feel...

Re: standalone hard disks/CD burners

I fully agree with you: after having MindStor for more than year and investigating the matter I decided that Vosonic's X'S-Drive II VP-2060 (don't confuse with VP-2030) is the best choice.

Save for web?

Why don't you use 'save for web'?
It is more accurate with jpegs: easier to adjust quality/filesize and 100% compatible with everything. (command-control-shoft-s in photoshop)
