Kosovo

Hi Viviane and thankyou for your reply.

Would it be possible then to refer the question to the admins and tech team? Kosovo has been an independent country for over 10 years now. The huge majority of global and EU countries recognise it.

Chios

Hi Viviane

There are 11 different locations for Chios in Greece. I just uploaded a shot to TE and it's in a different location to the one I previously uploaded to. Will try to find the premier shot I loaded of the windmills and let you know.

Hi Viviane

There are 11 different locations for Chios in Greece. They should all be under Hios.

http://www.trekearth.com/gallery/Eur...oto1509915.htm

I temporarily have the boats under: Earth Europe Greece South Aegean Dodekanisos Chios but will change 'Dodekanisos' to 'Hios' as it has its own province.

The majority (30) are under Earth Europe Greece North Aegean Hios chios.

Hi Chris,

I have merged all these places under the place Chios... :)

Agri Province Turkey

Thanks Viviane!

I found another: (3 spellings)

Earth >> Middle East >> Turkey >> East Anatolia >> Agri >> Dogubeyazit
Earth >> Middle East >> Turkey >> East Anatolia >> Agri >> Dogubayazit
Earth >> Middle East >> Turkey >> East Anatolia >> Agri >> Dogybayazit

The Turkish spelling & pronunciation is difficult even for English speakers who often simplify it to "doggy biscuit"

Wikipedia uses both the 'a' & 'e' spellings. (Dogubayazit / Dogubeyazit.) There are 5 pages in TE under 'e' and 2 pages under 'a' and 1 image under 'y' (Dogybayazit) There may be other spellings as well. Those are just the ones I noticed.

Porteplume 01-10-2016 06:55 PM

Hi Chris,

I have merged all the different spellings into Doğubayazıt (133 photos) and Doğubeyazit (29 photos). I understand the first one is the city and the second one is the district...

Kind regards,
Viviane

Cleaning up locations...

Hi everyone,

I am planning some "locations cleaning ups" and I began (or is it begun? ;)) yesterday with UK / Devon - http://www.trekearth.com/gallery/Eur...England/Devon/

Other regions you want to be cleaned up?

Greetings - Viviane :)

Vitosha.

Thanks again Viviane

One more I found today. Vitosha Mountain outside Sofia in Bulgaria. There are 4 listings in TE. I have chosen the one with the most uploads but you are welcome to change it to any one of the 4 you decide on.
