    Hello Barnabas,
It's always nice to see oldies from NYC. Capturing that old car on the right really adds to the 1950's atmosphere. I wonder where all the people and cars were on that day! It seems so quiet compared to Herald Square today.

    Hello Andre,
I always like the way people look next to aquarium exhibits. The dark silhouette compared to the dim light in the large tank is very nice. Yes, part of the fish head is out of the frame, but I know they move fast. You did capture a stingray sitting on a rock, which is cool. :-)

    Hello Andre,
I was looking at your NYC photos again, and I noticed Barnes and Noble. I love this store, and I often go there when I have free time. I like that you found a woman with colorful hair; she adds extra interest to the scene. :-) Union Square is a great place to spend a few hours, looking at books, and looking at people.

    Hello Andre,
I like this high POV, showing a lot of the boulevard, with many trees in the middle. I stayed on the same street at the Sheraton Hotel when I visited Montreal many years ago. Thanks for stopping by my gallery. It's nice to hear from you again. :-) Yes, I know street artist Kobra, and I really like his work. I've seen most of his murals here in NYC. I have photographed many of them, too. :-)

It's nice that you'll visit with Rob and Lars again. :-) Cool shot of the interior, with lots of shadows and lines. There must be endless composition possibilities. I like the WS photo looking straight up, too.

Nice view of the Casa Rosada and the plaza. I like how the flag of Argentina is hanging in many different places, even on the large monument. The fountain makes a nice foreground, too.

    Hello Lars,
Even without the famous arch this is still a scenic spot. It's too bad that the structure is gone, but you can't argue with Mother Nature. :-) I see that some people have managed to climb onto the rocks. It looks a bit risky, but they were rewarded with an amazing view.

    Hello Gyorgy,
I'm pretty sure I've seen this same man here in NYC! I remember him getting into a tiny box, and twisting himself like a pretzel. Of course we'd have to take some photos of this interesting character. :-) I like all of the red, in his outfit, and his accessories. Even being so flexible, it must be a challenge to dial with your feet!

    Hello Craig,
This is different. :-) I'm curious about the surroundings, but I'll wait for your next photo. Anything can be turned into art, and this was an interesting idea. I'm a bit surprised to see a pink car, though. We rarely see pink cars on the streets. I've always wondered why cars aren't more artistic, with personalized murals on them, but I digress. :-) I like this view, with some of the Vancouver highrises in the background.

    Hello Sven,
We've also had similar public pianos around NYC, but none with added artwork on top of and around the piano. I like the black and white figures, and the reflections on the ground from the rain. I wonder what the man was playing...

    Hello Elaine,
These are beautiful faces from Myanmar. I like how the girls have their arms around each other, while the girl in front holds the rice bowl. We also get a peak inside their home, and it looks like there is also a chalk drawing on the wall beside them. I like the soft colors, too.

    Hello Kasia,
I was looking through your excellent gallery, and this photo pulled me in. These children are so sweet, and I like how the girl on the left smiles as she blows a kiss. The boy is a bit more serious, but still cute. :-) It's a wonderful portrait.

The colors are so pure in this photo. It's so peaceful; it would be the perfect spot to sit and read for a while. I like your composition, with half of the lake surrounded by those small, white flowers, and the mountains in the background. If I could, I would walk right into this scene. :-)

    Hello Malgo,
These three structures create a beautiful scene. It's great they have survived for so long, since wooden structures are more likely to decay or catch fire. I don't know if it's unique to this site to have a summer and winter church; I've never heard of that concept before. I like the water in the foreground, too.

    Hello Ian,
This is a great image, filled with eye-catching details. The door of the palace is beautiful. I like all the colorful patterns and the Arabic writing on the facade, and it's interesting to see the armed men, all in a different uniforms, standing guard. They are perfectly off to the side, and don't get in the way of any of the artistic beauty. :-)

    Hello Jean,
The title drew me to this photo. My grandmother actually lives on Collins Avenue, but farther north, not near South Beach. :-) Still, I spent many summers visiting this area when I stayed at her apartment as a child. Nice capture of this Art Deco corner, with the taxi driving by, and the tropical palm trees.
