Swiss shares with BA the title for boldest and most recognisible tail fin in the skies and to have so many of them congregated here creates a fabulous truly three dimensional shot. The composition makes good use of the space to allow the tails to dominate the picture from the bottom up and your staggered POV is very effective.

This is a fabulous shot that wouldn't look out of place in a gallery. The composition is particularly striking, highly abstract and all the more pleasing for it. The two elements come together to create a great contrast. Congratulations for not sticking to formulaic composition and cropping so effectively. Love it.

Thanks for illuminating the legend of this towering building. This is a dramatic and bold composition that benefits from perfect exposure and contrast. The engaging red of the market roof adds a splash of vitality to an otherwise moody, atmospheric shot. Really nice. TFS.

I have only ever seen photos of this paste applied in single large blocks to the cheeks, this is far more decorative. The girl wears a knowing, wise-beyond-her-years expression and you have managed to coax a faint smile and wonderful directness. Nice and sharp and very beautiful.

Australia is one of those countries blessed with huge scales in all respects, extending to its skies. You will see from my other critiques that skies are my favorite subjects, and this is a cracker, combined with a simple but interesting foreground, and a great delicate tone. Lovely.

I know from much personal experience that its not easy to take a photo from a moving train and here you have succeeded admirably. The POV is hugely dramatic, and you have chosen well to eliminate sky, emphasizing depth and scale. Excellent shot Asa.

A bizarre and intriguing photo, illustrating the herd mentality of media around the world. Everyone needs to be at the same place all the time. The composition here is very unusual but definitely works for me, emphasizing the unusual. I also like the strange aritificial tones of the venue. Good informative note.

What a fabulous frame, it took me several seconds to realize that this wasn't a painting. Very simple composition but unique and entirely appropriate to time and place. The almost square composition works well too.

What an extraordinary view Henryk, and a no less fascinating example of postprocessing. I always appreciate others going the extra mile and risking a soaking while I sit happily in a dry pub somewhere! The saturation which you have escalated works entirely for me to give wonderful abstract quality here. Keep on walking so we can all enjoy your work.

This photo has everything I could possibly want in a silhouette. First, a strong, highly evocative main subject (this is my favorite temple in Bangkok). Secondly, the deep, warm colours provide an unbeatable background tone. And finally, the sky, clouds hanging in a sultry manner, framing the Wat superbly. Excellent.
