Absolutely magnificient. I choose to comment and not give critique since I'm speechless in front of this masterpiece. I look at people and wish that I could capture what I see, but I find it difficult to establish the contact with the model. I read that Richard Avedon said he didn't manage to establish a relaxing contact with his models until he had gained confidence as a photographer. But still he said he hated cameras, because they didn't capture what he saw.

Very nice in b/w. It gives a nice effect to the dunes and the contrast with the mountains is excellent. The picture seems a bit tilted to the left.

Preparing for my trip to Iceland I've gone through all the Iceland pictures at TE, and find my favourite photo to be the last one. (First one uploaded)

I had a similar fog experience in Blekinge archipelago the weekend after yours, but no photos. Great contrast and saturation.

I suppose you didn't compose this one the way it came out but it certainly came out well. I love when you go through your pictures afterwards and discover things like this.

The easy solution of the fuzzy problem (if you see it as a problem) could be Neat Image.

Wonderful wintercapture that makes the tip of my nose freeze. You've certainly caught serenity and left chaos out. I don't think I share Manny's appreciation of the green tarp and there's a bit to much light entering from the left. For the sake of discussion one could argue that the tarp adds a touch of colour but had you turned a bit to the right the sky would have turned out more blue and the tarp would have been unnecesary. Tarps like that one are usually just full of spiders and hibernating mice that probarbly scared me as a kid. I long for winter and who knows I might bump into homesick Ebbe in Brunflo.

Excellently educational note. I've often thought of trying to catch the spirit behind the red cottages. Is the presence of Falu rödfärg in southern Sweden (Scania)is a modern fashion thing or when was it introduced here. My local paint dealer is of danish heritage and doesn't sell it. I don't know why but I guess it goes way back. Technically I find the noise at the edges of the letters disturbing.
