if your feeling when you took the picture was as you described in your comments, I would have taken the picture a different way. I would go farther to the left, using a zoom lense and closer to the ground. having a row of the stones going inward and in the background the doorway which can be seen at the right and of the wall. I like the color on the stone, if it was less cloudy then you could have more blue sky, and the mixture of the green, blue and white would have made a deeper nostalgic impact. Alas that we don't get the perfect weather.

I would have kept the lense more horizontal, with a large F, such that having a bit of sky between the mountains, and some of the trees on the slope of the mountain in the background. This way you could have a nice view of the rice terraces, with additional perspective and dept.

The pattern on the surface, the trace, two boats at the oposite edges and the space between them, all have made it a photo that induces feelings and emotions. It is interesting that you see more yellow than blue, I am not sure if this is because of the processing, camera setting, or just simply the time of the day and lack of sky. Great job.

Robert, Not sure what was the main idea. If the architecture was in mind I would have taken this picture in day light, with more depth. If it was a practice for long exposure, then it is a good one. However, I feel a greenish hue, which I think is due to white balancing. Also I would have framed the picture in a way to capture part of the ground as well. That would bring proportion and sense of reference to the picture.
