I like the texture of the road so much , for emphasizing the texture, I increased contrast and sharpened a little bit more.

This is an altered and much brighter version. The fog is mostly just grey and it has almost no light effects. More like a misty shroud around the castle. Enhancing of Gamma-curve.
This is the original photo of my posting. I had to enhance the darker parts of the picture with Picture Project and I did cropping, particular enhancing of brightness, use of contrasts and slight sharpening with Fixfoto
