| As with a previous posting here is a photo taken from the same spot as my original. This version was taken by my great grand father in about 1880. At the time this photo was taken there was a cricket ground beside the water (colonial times!) and the hills were stripped bare of timber. This photo was a scanned print which an original print made in the 19th century from the original glass negative. |
