We do not know much his(her,its) previous history which go back up(raise) probably to the Middle Ages (the Earth of Durbuy is maybe a former(ancient) big Carolingian domain). While numerous villages of the region are quoted from the VIIIth and IXth centuries, Durbuy appears officially in the history(story) only in the XIth century (source wikipédia)
