Kudos for these two small backcountry Punta di San Cervone above Rusiu and Carticasi. They seemed so lost in their thoughts towards this magnificent landscape. Was it fatigue or heat? the joy of being arrival? or pure sense of well being.
Who knows, but a good picture for me.
Early August is festival time on the ridge which was rebuilt the shrine of the saint on an old medieval site (1 444m). This ridge is the boundary between Rusiu and Carticasi. |
