In the previous delivery, stressed this same scenario in a nightlife, so famous in the "blue hour".
However, friends of TE gave me to understand, they would have loved to watch more closely this monument to the Catholic religious culture in order to know more detail what history has composed for him.
Therefore in today exposed, the same architectural work, but in a daytime, and an annex detailing where WS with more presence, part of the towers that make up this wonderful basilica.
I hope it is agreeable to all.
The historical part of the Basilica of the Lord of Miracles, can be read from the previous publication.
However, I know some respects to widespread below:
The construction of the temple of the Lord of Miracles, lasted nineteen years and was made during difficult times of wars, more specifically during the War of a Thousand Days.
The temple measured 80 meters long and 33 meters high. In the two towers there is a statue of the Sacred Heart of 2 meters and a half tall cast iron. The clock tower of the Basilica of the Lord of Miracles is made in France, gives the hours after the March 18, 1909.
In 1,937 Pope Pius XI through his secretary Cardinal Pacelli (the future Pope Pius XII) issued a decree granting the title of Basilica because of the numerous miracles and the volume of pilgrims who visited (more than 200,000 annually over today 1,000,000 per year).
