 rainbow (23) knerten
(129) | | I happened to have the camera with me to the office, and usually this is a rather boring view. This day, however, due to lucky circumstances, we had rainshowers all day, and this is just one of the many rainbows I capyured that day. I've noticed one problem with my camera, and that is that white areas become burned out very easily, as you can see. How can I avoid that? |

Destauration (-15 %) Notice the grass green, a bit milder.
History brush on the rainbow, opacity 25 %, to limit the loss of colours in this region.
Finally, magic wand on white areas (32 levels, non contiguous) and a curve with an input 128 and output 64.
Plus: more natural colours, a bit milder white.
Minus: the rainbow is "weaker", the roof of the house on the left appears too sharp. (Maybe on aon original with more pixels the effect is smaller) |
