Manuel,
Just a short unsharp mask script in photoshop to increase sharpness and contrast:
1) amount 30% radius 40 pixels (which essentially increases contrast)
2) amount 150% radius 0.3 pixels (to increase sharpness).
There are lots of variations on this. Hope it's useful.
