I took this when on a walk in the Neath Valley in South Wales. We had intended to investigate the Aberdulais Falls but had arrived too late in the day and found them closed to the public and locked. We walked across the busy road, however, and find a rather pretty part of the world that we shared with one other person and a seagull.
Wonderful to find such an oasis in the outskirts of such an industrialised town as Swansea.

Just a few little simple tweaks in PSE6.



I darkened the sky just a little with the gradient tool then increased the saturation a little. I thought it could do with a bit of sharpening so, in Unsharp Mask, I sharpened it 100% with a Radius of 0.3 and a Threshold of 1 (not sure what all these things mean but it seems to work). Then sharpened it another 50% with the same parameters. Then, because we had some pixels to spare, added a simple frame.



Same could be done in Photoshop 7, I guess.
