I increased exposure to bring a bit more light into the image, although it caused the clouds to get a bit blown out; I used Aperture's sharpening tool and definition tool; I added a touch more saturation.

I hope you don't mind but I did a small photo workshop on your image. I gave it a border and sharped the image plus enhanced just a bit the colors. Please let me know if you think it is a little improved. Welcome to TE. We try and help each other as best we can. DT
