Marina di Bosa, according to many sources a place with the cleanest water in Sardegna. Well, maybe chemicaly and microbiologically, but it does not compare to many other Sardinian beaches. But there are other beaches in vicinity I have not seen, maybe they are more appealing.
The sandy beach is fairly wide with a gently descending bottom and itīs protected from direct sea waves - ideal for families with children.

I was here just when the summer season starts and the beach was not yet too crowded. I wonder how it looks in August...

On the end of this breakwater, built on a rock peninsula stands the Spanish watchtower Torre Aragonese. The tower was built in 1572 and is one of the biggest in Sardinia. It is open on Sundays from 16 to 19. Unfortunately, I was there on Tuesday at 10...

Behind the tower is a hideous concrete building with white and black stripes painting and walled up doors and windows - you can see it in the WS.

An extremely ugly building behind the Bosa watchtower.
