The history of Mahabalipuram, a town 58 kms from Chennai, dates back to two thousand years. It was already a centre of pilgrimage when, in the 7th century, Mamalla made it a seaport and began to make temples fashioned from rock. It is believed that seven magnificent temples were built near the seashore. However, the only survivor is the Shore Temple.

The Shore Temple is one of the oldest temples of South India, constructed in the Dravidian style. It is listed as a world heritage site by the UNESCO.

Hi Sridhar, I had a play with the light levels on the stone temple to get a bit more contrast. I think it needed a bit more punch. I didn't touch the sharpening.
Warm wishes
