Liège Guillemins train station (14)

The Liège Guillemins TGV train station, designed by Calatrava.

Perhaps you liked my different point of view of yesterday's posting, which was taken from the third floor of the abandoned ruins of a building block that is going down to make space for the new station.
If so, I posted another quite different point of view in the workshop, taken from the roof of a parking garage about 800 metres from the station.

In the main posting you see the new TGV train terminal designed by architect Santiago Calatrava from one of the side streets, exaggerating the gentle curves from this angle. I liked this one better for the main posting, since the sky has such a nice blue in it.

Taken from the roof of a parking garage 800 metres away, at the side of the tracks.
I like the diagonal of the tracks here. The main terminal is in the far left. The bridge that will make it accessible from the other side is seen in the right. Hope you like it!
