A clearer view of this mountain, more postcard-like with ‘fat-tailed sheep’ in the FG => please, have a look at the 1st sheep on the right : clearly visible, the pocket with fat that all the sheep of the area have under (or in) the tail, having the same purpose as the hump of camels, a reserve that allows them to survive an extremely long time (up to two weeks, in the case of camels) without food if need be.
I did not enquire about their names but saw in many parts of Asia this sort of sheep, similar to the Awassi sheep (or here too ; better view of the tail with fat, exactly at the same place) |
