We came to Cork on our way from Kilkenny to Killarney, it was about three a clock, and people well well on their way to getting plastered. Well, some of them at least. Pretty soon they started singing these old traditional songs - which are also a part of why I came to Ireland in the first place. You cant really experience Ireland without a pint of Guiness and The Fields of Athenry, can you.
But anyway, I like these pubs - they have pictures all over the walls, I think I even see a photo of Kennedy in the background. A lot of ambient, even if the photo doesn`t show it.
I know it`s not the best of photos, but it`s one of the three I have of Cork (was there for barely two hours) - I`m posting the other two as a WS. The first is the outside of the pub, the second is shot from a bridge, the river is Lee. |
