The village has been well-known since 1395 the year. To the eighteenth age she had many owners. In the year 1730 Turew, Wronowo and Zabno was bought by the cup-bearer from Poznan, Ludwik Chlapowski. Then village was inherited by his son Stanislaus, the castellan of Miedzyrzec. The fortune delivered to the son to Józef, to the foreman of Koscian which sold Wyskoc, Zabno and Rogaczewo, and bought they Raise clouds of dust the Kurza Gora, Bonikowo and Rabin. After him in 1821 the year inherited his son Dezydery Chlapowski. Post mortem of the wife did not see about with the fortune. He delivered him instead to the son to Tadeusz. In 1879 the village assorted four his juvenile children - Zygunt, Antona, Maria and Helena. A successor in title Turew was Zygmunt Chlapowski, and after him Tekla Chłapowski from Mankowski. In 1928 an owner Turew became Krzysztof Morawski. In arms Chłapowskich Turew stayed to 1939.
