Está situada en su extremo nororiental y limita al Norte con las provincias de Ávila y Salamanca, al Oeste con la comarca del Ambroz, por el Sur con la ciudad de Plasencia y al Este con la comarca de la Vera.
No sólo los cerezos florecen en el valle, otro árboles frutales también nos deleitan con sus hermosas flores.
(Parece que ha habido algo de confusión con este árbol, no es un cerezo, es otro árbol frutal pero no se cual, los cerezos son de flor blanca y se vislumbran en el fondo de la imagen)

Valley of the Jerte is a region of the Autonomous region of Extremadura (Spain) placed in the Province of Cáceres.
It is placed in his northeastern end and borders to the North on the provinces of Ávila and Salamanca, on the West on the region of the Ambroz, for the South on the city of Plasencia and to the East on the region of the Vera.
Not only the cherry trees bloom in the Valley, other fruit-bearing trees also delight us with his beautiful flowers.
(It seems that there has been something of confusion with this tree, it is not a cherry tree, it is another fruit-bearing tree but not which, the cherry trees are of white flower and are glimpsed at the bottom of the image)
