En ella se encuentra ubicada la Biblioteca municipal, una antigua fábrica reconvertida en espacio de cultura. La plaza está dedicada al sector textil, industria puntera de la ciudad durante muchas décadas... se puede apreciar en la foto unas tijeras gigantes a modo de homenaje cortando el suelo como si se tratara de tela. Hace unos años había un enorme dedal pero lo quitaron ya que resultó ser peligroso , los niños se podían subir y tener algun accidente.
De la fábrica se conserva la antigua chimenea y las paredes. El interior está adaptado.

The Place of " Cal Font" it is an enormous pedestrian space in center of Igualada, with parking underground. In her is the municipal Library, one old factory reconverted culture space.
