Notice the tilt of the ears and head, they have heard something. You will also notice the muscle defination of the 2 ranch horses, necessary for working cattle a full day and for grazing (you see the large pasture they are in). This is a pasture of native grass (never turned with a plow). I like the colors of the composition. If you travel to Nebraska I urge you to take the back roads and see the beautiful sites.
