![Gold Star Critiquer/Gold Note Writer [C: 67 W: 4 N: 67]](http://i1.trekearth.com/misc/g-n-g.gif) (307) | Windmill 'De Valk' (in English; 'The Falcon') in my hometown Montfoort is a real eye catcher when you enter the town from the west side. It was built in 1753 for milling of grain, but not in use anymore and in decline (even used as stable for pigs) since halfway the 19th century. In the 1980's a renovation took place, which left the outside more or less unchanged (apart from some extra windows), but changed the interior dramatically, for use as a dwelling house. A few years ago people decided to put back the milling installation and started a restoration that is still ongoing.
