I'm studying about lens for macrography,too,but I dizzy about canon 180mm or 100mm.
I know many difference between,but Your suggestions and ideas can help me and I will use your opinions surely.

The photo here,took in Raw,convert to tif,crop almost 50% black around the bee,used USM on the bee,resized for TE and convert to JPEG.
