It is an inhospitable but beautiful part of Australia. Not many trees grow well in the area but the Waddi Waddi trees are quite happy. They have a distinctive drooping foliage and extremely hard timber. Most of the time you have that classic very blue Australian inland sky to contrast with the red earth.
