It was taken on the same day, but this time a few minutes after sunrise, on the opposite side of the river. This is the historical part of the town and what we see in the centre is the 16th century clock tower.On the left side, we have the Guadiana River.
Mertola is a beautiful small town situated in the south of Portugal, it has been Moorish for a long time and the memories of that period are still very present there.
I have taken others with a different format but this is the only one with the man coming up the street, so I've decided to select this one.
