Workshop Note
Hi Zandra,
I think your original capture is possibly a little underexposed as the right side of the levels curve falls short of the end of the scale.
So I used Photoshop to do the following:

1) Adjusted overall levels curve by shifting the right slider.
2) Selected foreground with polygonal lasso tool and 20 pixel feather, then increased brightness slightly.
3) Adjusted colour balance in highlights from cyan towards red.
4) Cropped a bit of empty sky at the top as it felt slightly top-heavy, thus placing the horizon about 2/3 up.

Just my suggestions and hope you don't mind :o)
