Marazion is perhaps more widely famed as being the gateway to the enchanting St Michael’s Mount, “the jewel in Cornwall’s crown”. St Michael’s Mount is accessed by a causeway, once walked by pilgrims in honour of the alleged appearance of Saint Michael, which is revealed at low tide. At other times visitors are ferried from Marazion to the Mount in small boats.

On the way back from Land's End, we decided to make a quick detour to Marazion... The sky was fantastic. My only regret is no tripod...and my battery dying! Oh well! I will definitely go back again one day.

A square crop to centre the eye towards the mount, and lose some of the foreground and sky. Also a slight levels adjustment to bring out the definition in the island.
