I was very much surprised to see how the city has change due to the amount of tourists visiting this beautiful part of Dominican Republic every year. What used to be a small poor community is now growing and several new hotels and resorts have been built, during the tourist high season cruiser goes there every week.
The picture shows you an area of new housing development at the seafront, the vivid colors of the houses called my attention.
It took us three and a half hour to get there but a new highway is being built and we will be able to reach Samana from Santo Domingo in about two hours.
First time I post a picture in TE with a frame, it's just an experiment.
