Cape Neddick Lighthouse is located on Nubble Island, a small outcropping just 600 ft off of Cape Neddick Point in Maine. I wanted to show off the craggy coastline of the island and present the lighthouse as part if the Maine shoreline rather than the feature itself.

As a point of interest, there is wonderfully sweet and fresh lobster to be had at a nearby restaurant that overlooks this view. Save your appetite.

I copied and pasted, then translated upwards the frame from the bottom. Then I repeated the procedure with the frame from the top. After flattening the image, I cropped, and increased the size to make the vertical dimension 800, and sharpened the image. Finally, I saved for web at a quality. It took about eight minutes. Given a larger file size, and more time, this lovely composition could have been even more beautiful.
