Pena Sarayı, 16.yüzyıl yapısı eski bir manastırın yıkıntıları üzerinde, eski kral II. Dom Fernando'nun isteği üzerine inşâ edilen büyüleyici bir 19. yüzyıl yapısıdır. Mimarı Alman Wilhelm Ludwig'dir. 1910 yılına kadar son Portekiz krallarının yazlık konutu olarak kullanılan Saray, dünyanın çeşitli bölgelerinden getirilen egzotik bitkilerle dolu bir ormanla çevrilidir.

"Palácio da Pena" (Pena Palace) is a fascinating 19th century construction, which was built on the ruins of a 16th century monastery, by the order of Dom Fernando II. Its architect was Wilhelm Ludwig. This romantic palace had been used as the summer residence of the last kings of Portugal, till 1910. The Palace is surrounded by a very large forest, which is full of exotic plants from various parts of the world.

First I added a canevas at the top. Then little by little I applied some sky with the cloning stamp so that the top of the castle would not touch the top line. I played with Image adjustments Higlights and Shadows and got some additional light on the castle. Finally I corrected the verticals and was forced to eliminate the three ar the right because very remained.

1. colour correction
2. adjusted levels
3. use of shadow / highlight tool to bring up some light
4. use of dodge / burn tool to enlight and darken some areas of the palace
