Butcher's Tower (3)
kstaton (52) | A quiet street and watchtower in the small town of Ribeauvillé located in the Alsace region of France.
There's nothing special about this photo, it was taken on my P&S before I got a "real" camera.
But I can't stress this point enough:
"VISIT HERE!".
It's a beautiful region with small towns and private family owned wineries. It's about 20 minutes by bus outside of Colmar. |

| Under the 'Free transform' section I applied 'Skew' repeatedly and a final 'Warp' to align everything as much as I could. Unfortunately, this step resulted in image quality loss. Cropped a bit from the sides, applied auto contrast, shadow/highlight (2,5), color intensity (120), resized (650x488) to reduce the impact of distortion correction, smart sharpen (201, 0.2%, lens blur) and added a frame to make the whole thing look fancier. I must admit I'm not as satisfied with the final result as I was hoping to be. Hope you don't mind. |

Hey, I just straightened the tower a little. I also slightly cropped and lightened the shadow to show a little more detail. Let me know what you think.
