The Royal Domain of Laeken, the wide park of the Belgian royal family is also the home of many grey herons. They have there many nests on high beeches and platans. We can see them from a road along the domain.
The sky was grey on that day (no much colours), but I like this photo which remind me some Asian painting.

Le domaine royal de Laeken est un grand parc réservé à la famille royale. Mais c'est aussi la résidence de nombreux herons cendrés. On peut les voir depuis une route qui longe le domaine.
Le ciel était gris ce jour-là, mais j'aime bien cette photo qui que rappelle les aquarelles asiatiques.

J'ai joué un peu avec les niveaux pour éclaircir un peu le ciel. Puis j'ai séléctionné le héron à part pour le rebouster un peu car il avait perdu en contraste.

I think the grey frame detracts from the image. Let's try a simple white one.
