This was taken coming down the Navajo Knobs Trail in the early evening.
As this trail rises up the rock fold's natural incline, there are fantastic and continually changing views to the south, where the crazy angle to which this fold of land has been pushed is clearly visible.

Bit of a challenge photographically. The landscape is so convoluted that less than perfect lighting results in an almost indecipherable image - of which I have about 40 from this walk!

This is one of the more focused shots; although it's still far more comprehensible in b&w.

I try not to leave the peak in the middle of the picture. I have increased the contrast. Hope you'll like it
