i thought the hard contrast done (with photofiltre) on this shot was interesting, maybe it's too much for you, so in WS i add a version with just a simple desaturation & i would be very glad to see some WS done with this less contrasted version... i heard about "clarify" fonction with paintshop pro which seems very interesting, but if you can show me your ideas with photoshop for example...

a street scene in Copenhagen, while i finished to visit the Rundertarn, i heard them, there was a positive vibe, and 'click' did the shutter...

I made the black and white values on the channel mixer to be similar to Ilford HP5 and then added a bit of contrast, dodged the bricks under the archway to get a bit more detail and added a frame. But looking at it here agian I think that it is maybe still to flat, so maybe your hard contrast version is better.
